The young stock we have for sale are sired by Ironbark’s resident stallion, “Ironbark Resolute Rule” (Reggie), and are regarded by us as fine examples of the modern type of horse being sought after for today’s show ring and recreational market where temperament, refinement and trainability are paramount.  Reggie carries the imported bloodlines of such greats as “Rule Breakin”, “Doc Bar”, “Roman Coin”, “Otoe” and “Jackaroo”.

Ironbark Quarter Horse Stud could well be called one of the stalwarts of the Western Horse industry in Victoria.  Since its formation in the early 1970’s, when the Quarter Horse industry was still in its infancy, Ironbark began to make its impression by breeding some of the finest examples of the breed at its original location in Carrum Downs, Victoria.  Since moving to  Nar Nar Goon, Victoria, in 1980, Ironbark has been developed into one of the finest establishments in the State for rider tuition, breeding and the training of horses for show ring and pleasure riding.

Jack and Sandra take pride in having an eye for detail in the presentation of the facilities.  The three arenas allow for every type of riding instruction and the Indoor Arena, in particular, enables teaching time-tables to be kept regardless to weather conditions.  Safety, patience and understanding are at the top of the list at Ironbark where riders and horses at all stages of experience are catered for.
